Pink Lake Creative acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagulk peoples, and their connections to land, sky, water and Community. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend this to all First Peoples today. Pink Lake Creative recognises and values the contributions that First Peoples make in our society.
Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.

ABOUT US

Pink Lake Creative is a for purpose place-based creative studio focused on screen media and digital design services.

The company was conceived by filmmaker and playwright Tracey Rigney, a Wotjobaluk and Ngarrindjeri woman, who is passionate about empowering local communities to access, celebrate and engage with Victoria’s screen industry.

Pink Lake Creative’s mission is to give Wimmera kids and people of all ages a choice they’ve never had before: we want to make cool happen here so an amazing life and career in the arts and creative industries doesn’t have to mean moving away to the city.

The model we are setting up is a form of social enterprise, balancing goals around our commercial creative services with social impact goals (and regional Victoria’s first Social Traders-certified creative studio).
